SUPPLY LIST
Pattern (Available at Austin’s) Pattern includes fusible interfacing
15 2-1/2” strips WOF or jelly roll
1 ¼” YD for bag lining and handle lining
1 ¼”YD fusible fleece
Cutting mat/ironing mat (We recommend June Tailor Quilter’s Cut & Press)
Rotary Cutter
Ruler 24 x 6”
Small Iron (Craft Iron is fine)
50wt cotton thread (Recommend Aurifil or Cotona)
80/12 Universal Needle
¼” Piecing Foot
Scissors, seam ripper, pins, point turner, straight pins
Your sewing machine in good working order, foot control, cord, bobbins
PREPARATION FOR CLASS
Please have 50 2-1/2” squares cut from your strips for the first class. (Save 2 strips if you want your straps to be one solid color. You may use squares sewn together if you want your handles to be scrappy.
Please purchase your supplies at Austin’s to support quality classes and product shopping locally.
Classes are held based on paid attendance. You must cancel 1 week in advance to be able to apply your fee to another class.
