Description

SERGER SAVVY OCTOBER

We will create a throw-size quilt top exploring flat-locking as decorative stitching with 12wt thread, construction with 4-thread over-locking and we will create a unique border by using the differential feed feature to gather both sides of the border to make a ruched look highlighting the block colors.
PHOTO to come this week.  Sample is under construction. All brand sergers are welcome for this project but you must know how to thread your serger for flat-locking and 4-thread over-locking if you do not have a Babylock.  Be sure to bring all items that came with your serger.  You may use a blind hem or lace edge foot if you prefer this over your standard serger foot.
