HZL-LB5100 Stitches – 100 Built-in Stitches
A variety of stitches gives you the ability to customize every sewing project. Utility and stretch stitches make apparel sewing easy, while decorative stitches add a personal touch to handbags, pillows, and garments. Your most frequently used stitches are displayed on the body of the Juki HZL-LB5100. Other stitch options and their reference numbers can be found in the onboard stitch chart drawer, which pulls out from the right side of the machine.
Backlit LCD Screen
The easy-to-read backlit LCD screen makes it simple to change the settings on your machine. The large LCD screen displays the recommended presser foot for the selected stitch, stitch length, stitch width, and cursors.
One-Touch Buttons
The HZL-LB5100 comes loaded with five one-touch buttons. Use the one-touch needle up/down button to raise or lower your needle. The start/stop button is excellent for free sewing without your foot control, as well as sewing buttonholes. A few other buttons include a reverse stitch, auto-lock stitch, and cursor buttons.
Precise Stop
The HZL-LB5100 features a start/stop button for foot control free sewing. This convenient button doubles as a precise stop button. As you approach the end of your stitch, press and hold the precise stop button. This will instantly slow the stitch speed. When you release the button, the machine will stop precisely where you need it to.
Auto Needle Threader
The HZL-LB5100 features a built-in automatic needle threader, taking out the guesswork, near-misses, and frustration! No more struggling to thread a needle by hand! Effortlessly thread your sewing machine needle in seconds; without straining your eyes, and your needle is threaded and ready to sew.
7-Point Feed Dog
The HZL-LB5100 has a 7-piece feed dog system that ensures a consistent, even feed on all fabric types. Whether you are sewing heavyweight canvas or lightweight sheers, it will produce accurate fabric piecing. If you ever need to lower the feed dogs, do so with the switch under the free arm on the back of your machine.
Top Loading Bobbin
No one likes having to change your bobbin halfway through a project. Changing out the bobbin is super easy with the top loading bobbin! Drop a new bobbin into your bobbin case, pull the thread through the quick-set guide, and the machine does the rest! This machine takes uncommon bobbins and can go longer between bobbin changes.
Storage
Remove the accessory box to access the machine’s free arm. This narrow arm is perfect for hemming pant legs, shirt sleeves, and other cylindrical projects. Inside the accessory box is a hidden storage compartment. Use this space to store extra bobbins, presser feet, and small hand tools.
Built-in Bobbin Winder
The HZL-LB5100 comes with a built-in bobbin winder that makes sewing a snap. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect color for every project! You never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine automatically stops when it detects that your bobbin is full.
Extra-High Presser Foot Lift
The extra-high presser foot lift can accommodate the heavy fabrics and multiples layers that standard home sewing machines struggle to sew. Sew multiple layers of denim, heavy fleece, and thick quilts with ease. It can be raised approximately 1/4″ higher than a normal position.
LED Light
Never miss a stitch with the bright LED light positioned above the needle. With your sewing area sufficiently illuminated, it will help reduce strain on your eyes and keep sewing longer. With all this light, you will have better control of your material, and as a bonus, these energy-efficient bulbs don’t get as hot as the old incandescent bulbs.
1-Step Buttonhole
Choose from three buttonhole styles! Insert your button into the back of the automatic buttonhole foot, and the machine will sew a buttonhole perfectly sized for your button. This hands-free feature makes sewing easy and presents a wide range of creative possibilities for the crafter.
